MEDICAL DEVICE CONSULTANT

Tara Blair is a biomedical engineer with extensive experience in medical device research, development, and quality systems. She has held engineering and leadership roles at Stryker, CraniUS Therapeutics, and Kubanda Cryotherapy, where she led cross-functional initiatives in R&D, EU MDR compliance, verification and validation, prototyping, and operations. Tara brings strong written and oral communication skills, proven leadership experience, and a track record of driving technical execution in regulated environments.

Following a career break focused on international expedition travel—which strengthened her risk management, resilience, and decision-making under pressure—Tara now serves as a Medical Device Consultant with Nilo Medical Consulting Group. She supports clients across the product lifecycle with expertise in design controls, human-centered engineering, quality and operations, and collaborative problem-solving. Tara holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
