LaDahvia Flournoy Fowler is a Software Quality and Regulatory professional with executive experience supporting software-enabled, AI-enabled, and complex medical device companies.
She brings more than 15 years of experience helping startups, growth-stage companies, and multinational medtech organizations build, remediate, and scale quality and regulatory systems for SaMD, SiMD, AI/ML-enabled clinical tools, diagnostic aids, mobile medical applications, and connected healthcare technologies.
LaDahvia understands software teams and the executives who lead them. She can support regulatory strategy in the boardroom, then drop into the details with quality, regulatory, engineering, product, and software development teams to determine whether the documentation actually supports the claims being made.
Her work spans global regulatory environments, with experience and certifications across ISO 13485, MDSAP, EU MDR, IEC 62304, and ISO 14971. LaDahvia helps companies of all sizes translate complex quality and regulatory expectations into right-sized, practical systems that support the full product and business lifecycle, from development and commercialization to remediation, scale-up, mergers, acquisitions, and integration.
Her raison d’être is simple: brilliant medical technology should not be slowed, weakened, or exposed to unnecessary regulatory risk because the quality system cannot keep up with the software. She helps teams create systems that are practical enough for engineers to use, strong enough for auditors to defend, and mature enough for executives to trust.
LaDahvia holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology with a specialization in Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering with a concentration in Biomechanics from the University of Pittsburgh.
